Good fishing on the ‘Stone yesterday. Caught fish nymphing all day. Streamer fishing was slow until afternoon. The activity really picked up about 3 PM. There were a few baetis around and lots of midges, but only a few tiny fish eating on the surface. The big winners were the hare’s ear, prince nymph and copper john for nymphs. Black and blue woolly buggers and the WMD were the top producing streamers. Absolutely beautiful day for a float!

Stillwater River Fishing Report
Nymph fishing on the Stillwater was great yesterday. Had a window of action between 2 and 4pm. Hare’s Ear and Prince Nymph combo was deadly.
